Hello, I have installed the game and moved the crack file to c:\programfiles\maxis\simcity4deluxe per your instructions. I keep getting an error telling me to insert the play disk and restart. I have used daemon tools and mounted both disk 1 and 2 and keep getting the insert play disk error. What am I doing wrong?

The problem is that the crack file does not write over/replace anything, it's just a new file in the "SimCity 4 Deluxe" folder. What should I do to make it work? :S

I know the answer now. There is a mistake in the instructions, you need to copy the crack into directory C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\APPS !!!

Just copy the crack onto the zip files you pulled out
I'll write what i did

1. Zip SC4Deluxe1.iso and SC4Deluxe1.iso into the same file (in my case i unzipped it with the zip's itself)

2. Open Crack copy/cut exe (file with icon, if your a beginner) paste it onto the files you unzipped

3. Double click the exe and your done

Im not sure if the files are perfectly done
But it definetly runs

Sorry, forgot to include that P2P Turbo MAY or may be blocked by firewall; One if it's default settings is that it stops Firewall while boosting the speed. I have put the crack in the proper place. And when I try to open it, it says "Cannot find game data, this is likely an installation problem, or an operating system problem." I'm burned the image files to TWO seperate discs and installed per instructions. I used winrar to unzip, imgburn to burn discs and I run windows 7 on my pc.

Simple instructions that worked for me!!

Step 1 obviously download the torrent(duh)

Step 2 use winrar to unzip the files

Step 3 use daemon tools to mount the first disc image and click install you will need to enter the serial key from the instrustions text then when asked mount the second disc image to finish installing

Step 4 rename the crack file in the crack folder to SimCity 4 and replace the original file with the renamed cracked file in the following path C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps by copying and and pasting,when prompted click move and replace.

I have run this on Windows 7 64 bit and it is fine. Right click on it and press explore and then double click the setup file (saying this from memory might be a bit wrong).

Locked out my computer (W7 64-bit).. Needed reboot to get rid of it.

AVG reported it as able to inject code... why would it need to inject code? Not even keygens inject code.
It ran with another process: conhost.exe

For installing, open the first .iso file (sc4deluxe1), put the cd key, advance with installing, mount part 2 (sc4deluxe2), finish installing and all, than go to where you installed (for me, program files/maxis/sim city 4 deluxe), you'll find at there 1 file called SC4, exclude it, and copy cracked SC4 file to there.. Done, at least for me, good luck!

Solution that worked for me...Thank you for the upload. I was unable to start the game following the instructions given, which would work in most cases; they were standard instruction for installing a cracked game. I received the same "insert and restart" message others had. I would like to vouch for (and thank) previous commenters who suggested that the crack file had to be copied into Program Files/Maxis/Sim City 4 Deluxe/Apps instead of the Main Directory as listed in the instructions, which is usually the case. The peculiarity that derails the standard instruction is that that is where the exe file to launch it is, rather than the main directory as is usually the case. I cannot account for nor argue that it couldn't work another way for some or that it must work this way for others, but only that it worked for me, using Win764bit, Winrar & Daemon Tools. I would add that I copied and pasted both files in the crack folder into the main directory as well as well as both into the Apps folder, and it may be important to note to some (explicit instructions to benefit those who are new to this and should be helped to enjoy the game with the rest of us, not mocked for not already knowing) that the exe file found in the Crack folder, once placed into the Program Files/Maxis/Sim City 4 Delux/Apps folder must be renamed from SC4.exe to Sim City 4 Deluxe.exe, like the exe that is already in the Apps folder, which itself must be deleted before renaming the SC4.exe. Or you can just rename it while its in the crack folder, paste it into the Apps folder which will give you the chance to just overwrite the one there, a is intended and normally the case.

I hope this is helpful and thanks to the uploader and the previous commenters who shaured this information. I hope it works for you all, and both new and old downloaders can enjoy this game alike and have fun. Best wishes.

(Assuming the free program Daemon Tools is installed and running, which allows you to use iso files as though they were physical discs in your optical drive, and that you have the free program Winrar installed to "unzip"(extract the files from the zipped file you download)
1. Download
2. Right click and select "Extract files to Sim City 4 Deluxe (crating its own folder within the folder your downloaded zip file is in. This will create 2 iso files and a crack folder with an nfo and exe file within it.)
3. Right click the Daemon Tools icon in your tray and select "Virtual devices" which will open the Mounted Drive Letter, and hovering over that will open the option of "Mount Image" which you click and opens a file browser with which you navigate to the first iso file in your newly created folder for the game, and click it; this mounts the iso as a disc and select "install" when it prompts you)
4. Type in the CD key when prompted, given in the instructions text that accompanies the 2 iso files.
5. When prompted, use the same process with Daemon Tools to mount the second iso.
6. Wait to be prompted; your program files directory has been created and will appear as Maxis (the game makers) in your Program files directory
7. Go to your crack folder and rename the SC4.exe to Sim City 4.exe and paste it into .../Program Files/Maxis/Sim City 4 Deluxe/Apps folder, and choose to overwite the existing file there of the same name, and restart the game; you should be able to do this from your start menu where the game places a shortcut. Program Files are usually found in your main Drive letter, usually C for most people. For people using 64bit, it will appear instead as "Program Files (86)"

I hope this works for you and that I addressed everything. Enjoy the game all, thanks again to the uploaders and helpful commentors. The game includes a tutorial for beginners, and a mod at Simphoni forums is very kind and helpful, if you have problems.

This is rubbish. I mount the first disk and I can't even install it! Autorun, even when in compatibilty mode, does not work. Setup, even when in compatibility mode, does not work. There is no 'autoplay' option when the disk is mounted either.

You don't need a crack for this game. I used demontool (you can google it and get it). after you install demontool, you will see a small icon next to the clock. right click on it, then click on "virtual devices". then go to "device 0:..." then "mount image". after clicking that one, a window will open. find the place you downloaded this game and double click it. when you try to play the second time, if it ask for insert a CD, follow the same steps and mount the second image you downloaded.

However, when I play the game, it runs fine for a while, then randomly crashes and goes back to the desktop. This isn't the first ISO I've had problems with, on two separate PCs. Did I screw something up with the crack, or is this a common problem?

THe trojan is not virus, just click allow, most cracks appear as a virus but that's just your anti-virus so don't worry.

mount with daemon tools, install (mount disk 2 when asked for disk 2!)

UKIAH, shut up and go back to your basement. This game works fine. And to all people who say that you need a disk make sure you take the simcity.exe from the crack folder, and replace the one in the SC4 folder (sc4.exe may be located in SC4Directory\Bin). If it still says you need a disk try mounting both disk to a virtual drive using Daemon tools or Virtual Clone Sheep.

Dont download this, the cracked file has MALEWARE and a Win32/Obfuscator. For those that dont know, Maleware damages your computer and disrupts it while it gathers any sensitive data. The Win32/Obfuscator is cleverly placed to hinder the analysis of your anti-virus protection, making it a lot harder to detect, especially for those of you with the free anti virus programmes.

Fortunately i pay for my anti-virus, and paying for it saves your computer. If you dont want your computer to eventually crash and lose sensitive information, dont use the crack file, find one somewhere else. Infact, just dont download this. Even if you scan it, your anti virus will say its perfectly fine, this is the Win32/Obfuscator doing its job. My AVG didnt actually detect the Maleware until i copy and replaced the crack. Upon doing so my AVG automatically removed it and all its components. I then tried again, thinking that it had been removed only to get the same result.

Download this game somewhere else guys or risk having your computer messed up and any personal details lost and you wont even know it. There was someone mentioned on a previous comment that there computer crashed upon playing the game... well there you go.

PS i'm not saying the guy posting this file is responsible so dont hate on him, but whatever, dont download this and if your coming here for help with the game, uninstall it, delete it and all files relating to it, scan your whole computer, back up any important files, then restore your computer back to before you even downloaded this.

I still can't play it, it says cd required. I've installed it and copied files inside "crack" to game folder.
I tried play by mounting disc one, but it still asking me to insert cd. please help me.

All cracks and keygens are recognized as a virus. It's called false positive. Obviously you havn't been downloading much and leave comments the lenght of a novel. Do you research before commenting and then looking like a douchebag
